Membership
Membership inquires are welcome. Life Membership is extended to men and women of good character, 18 years of age or older, who are citizens of the United States, who are lineal descendants of an ancestor who was resident of, owned land in, or was the chief proprietor of a business between 1608 and December 31, 1662, within the boundaries of present day Quebec Province, Canada.
Upon receipt of required fees and verification of an application by the Registrar, a qualifying lineally descended applicant, shall be granted full membership status with the privilege of voice, vote, and holding office for the remainder of his or her life not withstanding any genealogical allegations tendered by persons inside or outside the Society at any time in the past or future.
Charter Member status shall be conferred upon members whose applications are verified by postmark dated before June 1, 2023.
Regular Member status shall begin with verification of the first member following the closing of the Charter Member period.

Membership Fees
Life Membership fee after the Chartering period (June 1, 2023) is $200.00
Supplemental application fee is $30.00
The applicable fees shall be submitted with the application papers. The check should be issued to Society of First Families of Quebec.
If an application is deemed unacceptable, the Life Membership fee shall be returned. The applicant may submit a second paper, but full fees, applicable at the time of the second submission, will apply and the same procedure will follow should that paper also be found unacceptable.
